Have to sell this great desk and chair. We're turning the den into another bedroom and need the space for the new roommate. The desk was the Purser's Desk on the Queen of Bermuda and the chair doubles as a ladder.
The desk is solid teak with brass overlay on the top and the runner. The top folds up to reveal a map compartment. I kept my laptop in there, along with some private letters, under lock and key.
The chair is made of Cherry, which matches the desk. Sturdy construction, comfortable and it's a Transformer! It becomes a ladder whenever you need one!
