I bring sunshine and large waves wherever I go. The problem here in Ferndale Washington is that there are miles and miles of inland waterways before you can get to the waves. Have seen the ocean many times on my trip but not the waves. The sun has made a valiant effort to shine upon me but the weather finally took back the fog this morning. The cold rain tapped out a Reggae beat on the windshield last night and my sun hasn't been seen since.
The cold gets into the bones but slowly, like good champagne. Pretty soon you wonder why your lips don't work. Dry air and cold wind conspire to hide the beautiful Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters. I have seen them and will climb into the heights of Mt. Baker tonight -- when it gets down below 40.
More later.
