Just a few words to my Condo Association
- Associations are nonprofit organizations so you're running them for the state of california -- not yourselves.
- In fact you cannot profit from being on the board; there can be no real or percieved conflicts of interest: so, yeah, you have to fix everybody's stuff not just yours.
- Why is it that the people who hate pool noise live AT THE POOL?
- Why, when you never use the pool, do you care if someone's trying to get in without a key?
- Replacement pool keys cost a lot of money - $150.
- The above fact and the one below this are racist...
- Association members may only being three guests to the pool.
- This is racist because, traditionally, the non-white families in the condo are larger than four so people of color are being denied the use of the common area.
- That is only one of the things that's gonna change 'round here.
- There's a new sherriff in town and he wants people to have fun in the pool; use the weight room and (GASP!) have free and unfettered access to the clubhouse!
If you don't like it, you have three choices:
- Deal with it;
- Purchase my condo at an abov-market rate; or
- Sell me yours at a below-market rate
